All the lab spaces are supported by an extensive network of gas and exhaust lines above the ceiling grid, made accessible through designated access points, and compliant with the safety regulations necessary for laboratories. Located in University City, Amicus Therapeutics employs 200 researchers and drug developers focused exclusively on gene therapies, and is near other medical-research institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania.
