The Lighting Practice
The office fit-out for the Philadelphia headquarters of The Lighting Practice is located in the historic Wells Fargo Building, built in 1928. The overall goal of this office space was to incorporate the most modern display of lighting inside of an industrial open ceiling with exposed beams and mechanical equipment. This project included a complex lighting and control package to allow The Lighting Practice to display and demonstrate the technology they can provide to their clients and designers. Additionally, there are areas of exposed concrete floors, wallcoverings, low-profile projection screens, and a high-end millwork package. The space is also composed of glass office fronts for private conference rooms, a kitchen hub, a lighting lab, and the option for private or open collaborative spaces. The overall schedule for the project was 12 weeks.
