Revolution Place

Project Description

This design-build project incorporated a 5,000-square-foot interactive exhibit space within the Museum of the American Revolution, a 125,000-square-foot museum INTECH constructed. The exhibit included three historical environments — a military encampment, a tavern, and a home — to immerse visitors in Philadelphia during the Revolutionary War. The design-build approach ensured seamless coordination between the design and construction phases for efficient project delivery. The space includes public restrooms, custom doors and moldings, and high-end, tailored finish that enhance the overall experience. The flooring was a custom-designed, patterned Forbo luxury vinyl tile, combining durability with a unique visual appeal that provides a striking foundation for the displays. Adjustable and tunable track lighting allows for versatile lighting solutions that can be customized to highlight different displays. Thin brick was applied to selected walls, and custom-made wall coverings were incorporated within the immersive space.
