3151 Market Street
3151 Market Street is a ground-up, purpose-built life sciences building with a striking, sustainable design, large, open floorplates, and state-of-the-art building systems. Designed by leading lab architect Gensler, 3151 Market Street offers options for full floors of intensive chemical and biological lab use, including the potential for GMP and vivarium functions. The building introduces 6,500 SF of outdoor terraces, an homage to the vernacular style of West Philadelphia’s homes, 14,900 SF of retail, and a public greenspace at ground-level called Grove Park. The porches on alternating floors create stacked indoor/outdoor spaces that provide access to fresh air and emphasize the health and wellness attributes of the building. The building is fully wrapped in dynamic glazing — a type of glass that reduces a building’s reliance on artificial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and increases the building’s energy efficiency.
